Coupeville-ing Part 2

My site, Haller house, located right at the edge of downtown. Its a sort of preservation project, to turn this site into a visitor's centre. Its a real project, so we'll be going down to coupeville to pitch our proposal to the authority for midterm crit..

This is the house of one of the dean. He invited us in to view the interior of the house. The houses here emphasise a lot on framing of views cos ( i mean of cos you want to frame such beautiful coastal view..duh..)

Pictures of some of the houses at the coastal area, apparently this is a rich people kind of island, the people here are mostly educated retirees. The past 2 dean of architecture lives here too.

Coupeville's Saturday market

Downtown Coupeville, just beside my site. Love this little town by the sea.

Sunset

The coast is just on my right, while the forest is directly on my left. You can never get this kind of experience elsewhere
That dark shadowy figure is our tutor, haha

Our tutor, Peter Keyes' house, he designed and built part of it himself. A very hands-on person indeed.

Finally, im blogging again...so way behind so many posts..haha..I have a lot to update...let me do one at a time..im quite sleepy now though..zzz..haha..Ok went to coupeville at whidbey island, WA for site analysis last last weekend. The place is awesome, pretty and amazing, have never seen anything so beautiful. The coast is known for its scenic view and is voted the best place to view the west coast.
